OKE Labradors is owned by Buck & Jenny Otterson located in the tiny farming/ranching community of Maxwell Calif. 
We are a multigenerational farming/ranching family with a love for English Labradors. 
 
Our kennel name OKE is actually our cattle brand. We have a beautiful herd of Angus and Wagyu/Akaushi cows that are a big part of our life. Visit our beef page for Farm to Fork Beef www.okecattlecompany.com 
We also farm Almonds and Hay. 
Our home sits on 80 acres surrounded by a beautiful young Almond orchard up against the western foothills.
 
We only breed English style Labradors. Our dogs have pedigrees full of Champions and Grand Champions, they have a compact frame, short muzzle, heavy coat and otter tails. 
 
Our goal is to improve the breed, adhering to AKC standards. We do extensive genetic testing through Embark Genetics, clearances through OFA and temperament testing. We are very strict with the dogs that stay in our breeding program. We do not mass produce puppies, only having a few litters per year.

When we're not playing with dogs, kids or farming. We enjoy anything outdoors.
We have a beautiful 2000 sqft greenhouse where we are able to grow our own veggies and flowers. We also have a couple family milk cows to enjoy fresh milk, dairy products and all natural milk soaps. 
And when we are able to leave the ranch, we enjoy fishing, jeeping and hunting.
